The exhibition is Akhbari’s first institutional solo exhibition in Canada. Developed over five years of fieldwork and archival research, ‘Of Wool and Diesel’ is a new commission.

‘Avery, Gottlieb & Rothko: By the Sea’ will run from October 24, 2026, through January 24, 2027, as a special exhibition.

‘Epilogue’ is a body of work by Kurtis Ceppetelli and Matt Malone, who are also known as Duly Noted Painters; the paintings form a body of work shaped by seventeen years of artistic conversation between them.

The exhibition is organised by the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, in collaboration with Tate Modern.

Kerstin Brätsch has been named the winner of the 2027 Zurich Art Prize. The award will support a new solo exhibition opening at Museum Haus Konstruktiv in Zurich in June 2027.

The Philadelphia Museum of Art will present ‘Marcel Duchamp’ from October 10, 2026, through January 31, 2027, in the Main Building’s Dorrance Galleries and Galleries 281–283.

Kunsthaus Zürich will present ‘Maria Lassnig and Edvard Munch: Flow of Paint = Flow of Life’ from 2 October 2026 to 21 February 2027.

Musée des impressionnismes Giverny will present ‘TAIKAN / MONET. Impressions japonaises’ from 17 July to 1 November 2027.

The Royal Academy of Arts in London will present ‘Matisse, Picasso, Klee: Masterpieces from the Museum Berggruen’ from 19 November 2027 to 19 March 2028, bringing works from the Berlin collection assembled by Heinz Berggruen into a focused exhibition of three central figures of European modernism.

The Royal Academy of Arts will present ‘Rembrandt: Radical Printmaker’ in London from 9 April to 19 September 2027, dedicating an exhibition to the Dutch artist’s work in print.

The Royal Academy of Arts in London will present ‘Peggy Guggenheim in London: The Making of a Collector’, an exhibition bringing together works by Vasily Kandinsky, Salvador Dalí and Rita Kernn-Larsen.
