Harvard Art Museums has announced an in-depth tour of ‘On Location: Drawing the Outdoors,’ led by curator Joachim Homann, scheduled for September 26, 2026.

In the statement, Cézanne said he greatly liked Redon’s talent and felt a deep affinity with Redon’s feeling for and admiration of Delacroix.

As part of ‘Verdant: French Masterworks from the National Gallery of Art,’ the Whatcom Museum has introduced an educational pilot program offering free admission to K–12 school field-trip groups visiting the exhibition.

The highlighted work is Paul Cézanne’s ‘Harlequin’, dated 1888–1890. Cézanne was a French Post-Impressionist painter whose work introduced new modes of representation and influenced avant-garde artistic movements of the early 20th century.

The Brooklyn Museum will open ‘Cézanne to Modigliani: Gifts of Modern Art from the Pearlman Collection’ on October 2, 2026, bringing together more than 50 modern European masterpieces.
