Harvard Art Museums has announced an in-depth tour of ‘On Location: Drawing the Outdoors,’ led by curator Joachim Homann, scheduled for September 26, 2026.

The tour explores how artists’ intimate and reflective relationship with nature shapes their artistic vision.

‘On Location: Drawing the Outdoors’ is on view from September 18, 2026, through January 17, 2027. The exhibition features drawings by J. M. W. Turner, John Constable, Gustave Courbet, Édouard Manet, Berthe Morisot, Paul Cézanne, and Vincent van Gogh, among others.

The tour is an in-person event at Harvard Art Museums.
