Palazzo Strozzi in Florence will open ‘Broken: The Power of the Fragment in Sculpture’ on September 25, 2026. The exhibition features Adrián Villar Rojas and Danh Vo.
Its title names the power of the fragment in sculpture as the exhibition’s focus, bringing the two artists together in Florence for the forthcoming presentation.
Villar Rojas is also the subject of ‘First Gods, Lost Animals’ at Aspen Art Museum, where new site-specific work includes reconstructed cave environments derived from archaeological research. Danh Vo’s ‘We The People’ appears in MAPS – Museum of Art in Public Space’s ‘The Story of Public Art’ in Køge, Denmark, a long-running exhibition examining artistic experiments in public space.
