Museum Beelden aan Zee in The Hague will present ‘Ex Machina’, an exhibition of new work by the artist and musician Peter Zegveld, from 27 January to 27 June 2027.

The exhibition, the museum’s first dedicated to wax sculpture, centres on a Lithuanian folk-religious image recast as a group of translucent works shaped by questions of migration, memory and home.

Museum Beelden aan Zee in The Hague will present ‘Jakob Grosse-Ophoff – Myself and Other Planets’ from 31 October 2026 to 4 April 2027, marking the German artist’s first museum solo exhibition.

Museum Beelden aan Zee will present ‘Hans (Jean) Arp: A Library of Forms’ from 9 July 2027 to 23 January 2028, an international exhibition shaped by a multi-year art-historical and conservation study of 21 plaster models in its collection.

Museum Beelden aan Zee is presenting ‘Birthland’, a solo exhibition by Femmy Otten that accompanies her receipt of the 2026 Per Abramsen Sculptuurprijs.
