Museum Beelden aan Zee is presenting ‘Birthland’, a solo exhibition by Femmy Otten that accompanies her receipt of the 2026 Per Abramsen Sculptuurprijs. The exhibition, on view through 1 November 2026, brings a selected group of Otten’s sculptures and paintings into the museum.
Otten is the 2026 winner of the Per Abramsen Sculptuurprijs, awarded by the Stichting Abramsen-Koedam in collaboration with Museum Beelden aan Zee. ‘Birthland’ is the accompanying exhibition for the prize.
The works address spirituality, motherhood and sexuality.
Ahead of the exhibition, Museum Beelden aan Zee visited Otten in her studio and produced an interview with the artist about her work.
