The presentation is in collaboration with the art and technology festival GOGBOT. In a time when democracies worldwide are under pressure, the exhibition brings together 15 national and international artists to show how power and systems work, how images influence people, and what role people themselves play in democracy.

Kunsthal Rotterdam will present ‘Plastic Sea, Perfect Storm’, a photo-and-text project by photographer Rob Hornstra and author Arnold van Bruggen, in Hall 3 from 3 October 2026 to 7 March 2027.

Kunsthal Rotterdam is marking North Sea Jazz’s 50th anniversary with ‘50 Years of North Sea Jazz Photography’, an exhibition of work by Paul Bergen, Rico D’Rozario and Andreas Terlaak.

Kunsthal Rotterdam will present ‘A Chair and You’ in Hall 2 from 26 September 2026 to 31 January 2027.

The chairs are cast as the subjects of an immersive performance. Inspired by the performing arts, Wilson used light, sound and scenography to create four thematic worlds.
