Contemporary Art is a category of art or art movement represented by several artists such as Yayoi Kusama, Andy Warhol and Takashi Murakami. The Pola Museum of Art has issued a condolence statement following the death of Yayoi Kusama, describing her as a globally recognised avant-garde artist whose career extended across more than half a century.
Lap-See Lam: ‘Ombres’ is scheduled to run from 11 June 2026 through 3 January 2027. It brings together established works and new works created specifically for Henie Onstad.
The exhibition 'Là où elle pose', associated with Anne-Laure Étienne, Léa Guitter and Alba Duque, will run from 3 October to 12 February, with a vernissage on Saturday 3 October at 18:30 in the Galerie du Théâtre de Privas, where admission is free.
FAIR FOR ART, a fair for modern and contemporary art, will take place at the Künstlerhaus from 7 to 11 October 2026, returning to its original Vienna location after ten years away.
Madrid’s Ayuntamiento, through its Area of Culture, Tourism and Sport, will acquire three contemporary artworks at the 34th edition of Estampa, scheduled for 24–27 September at IFEMA Madrid, for the collection of the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Madrid.
