Inês Zenha’s exhibition ‘Águas Turvas’ opens at Espaço Projeto, Centro de Arte Moderna Gulbenkian in Lisbon on 19 September 2026, remaining on view through 8 February 2027.
The exhibition brings together sculptures and installations in adobe, ceramics and water, forming hybrid bodies and subterranean landscapes. Zenha creates what is described as a fluid, immersive landscape in which identity, desire and corporeality are entwined in a continuous process of transformation.
Water, bodily fluids and clay run through the exhibition’s exploration of bodily systems and human infrastructures. Its installation is conceived as a post-human cave where pipes and hydraulic systems meet performative gestures.
‘Águas Turvas’ is curated by João Mourão and Luís Silva. Admission is free, with tickets collected on the day of a visit.
