A free digital conference with Lidewij Edelkoort and Philip Fimmano will explore hope, playfulness and imagination, bringing together international creative voices.
The conference considers reconnecting with the inner child as one possible way of dealing with a present marked by conflict and aggression. Its stated aim is to find paths towards a kinder and more empathetic way of living.
Established and emerging creative voices will meet through works presented as conveying hope and belief in the future.
An exhibition made exclusively for Artipelag by trend analyst Lidewij Edelkoort and curator Philip Fimmano is dated 10 October 2026 to 11 April 2027. It brings together works by 100 designers and artists in a narrative about playfulness, imagination and the human need to create by hand during a period of rapid technological development and turbulence.
More than 200 unique design objects by more than 100 designers and studios from 23 countries were selected for the exhibition. Through design, art, colour, form and unexpected encounters, it explores the playful and creative within us.
