Developed exclusively for Artipelag by trend analyst Lidewij Edelkoort and curator Philip Fimmano, the exhibition brings together works by more than 100 designers and artists across sculpture, objects, textiles and installations.
‘INNER CHILD’ explores the inner child as a source of creativity, hope and the joy of making. It examines playfulness, imagination and the human need to create with one’s hands amid rapid technological development and turbulence.
Its presentation includes sculptural furniture, handmade objects, soft textiles and imaginative installations. The exhibition presents contemporary designers as rediscovering joy, curiosity and unconstrained imagination as forces in their creative work.
