The eleventh edition of Festival Indigo, titled ‘Hiperkonzum – čas nepredvidljivosti,’ will take place from 7–9 October 2026 over three days of lectures, conversations, musical performances and exhibitions. The festival will address how to live in a world saturated with algorithmically generated excess.
Under the title ‘Hyperconsumption,’ Festival Indigo will investigate the crisis of saturation that characterizes contemporary society through an interplay of philosophy, music and contemporary design. Its provocation, ‘Slop till you drop,’ is presented alongside a space for reflection and the search for collective responses to a world in which causes and consequences are increasingly unpredictable.
The announced programme of talks and lectures includes New Models, Mat Dryhurst, Dean Kissick and David Rudnick, Ian Anderson, Simon Denny, Mladen Dolar and François Cusset, and Andrej Nikolaidis and Aljoša Pužar.
Leckey is identified as a Turner Prize recipient, and his work has been shown at Tate Britain, MoMA PS1, Serpentine Gallery and the Hammer Museum.
The programme listing also includes talks by Simon Denny and Ian Anderson, a Spike Art Magazine pop-up, and musical or audiovisual performances by The Designers Republic with Frankie and Kelman Duran and by Fatima Al Qadiri.
