‘Zwischen Ordnung und Leben. Konstruktive Kunst heute’ will take place from 25 October 2026 through 18 April 2027. The exhibition will open on 24 October at 5 p.m. in the Museumspassage.
Its stated questions are how constructive art manifests itself today, which ideas arise from clear principles of order, and how those ideas are implemented artistically; the exhibition offers an exemplary view of current developments through eight positions.
The eight participating artists are Nándor Angstenberger, Doris Erbacher, Clare Goodwin, Erika Hock, Peter K. Koch, Mona Radziabari, Nicola Staeglich and Amalia Valdés.
The presentation includes paintings, drawings and photographs, alongside numerous sculptures, assemblages, ceramics and objects, as well as several installations conceived specifically for the exhibition.
The opening program includes a welcome by Marli Hoppe-Ritter, followed by exhibition talks from Dr Barbara Willert, the museum director, and Hsiaosung Kok, the curator.
