‘Joy Like Time’ will run from 20 June to 15 November 2026, placing its exploration within a defined period of exhibition activity. The dates identify the presentation’s opening and closing points without specifying individual events, artworks or other programme details.
‘Joy Like Time’ tracks the careers of a select group of artists in depth and considers how they have found life’s meaning through their practice via craft and repetition. It also asks whether duration—which marks everything from commutes to lifespans, and from harvests to histories—might help people confront what the exhibition describes as one of humanity’s most enduring questions: what is the meaning of life?
