Robilant’s Frieze Masters presentation is scheduled for 14–18 October at Stand F4, The Regent’s Park. It will comprise a selection of works extending from the 16th century to the modern era.
Old Master highlights include an unpublished ‘Christ supported by an angel’ by Palma il Giovane (1548–1628), on view for the first time after considerable research.
Gaspar van Wittel’s (1652/53–1736) ‘View of Frascati’ is identified as another recent discovery, unique in the master’s oeuvre.
Moving through to the 19th century, the presentation will include a charming panoramic watercolour of Constantinople by John Singer Sargent (1856–1925).
Pistoletto’s practice is framed within a career that has spanned seven decades. The Modern section features Pablo Picasso, Lucio Fontana, Cy Twombly and Andy Warhol among its artists.
