‘British Art Show 10: A Chorus of Strangers’ opens in Coventry on 2 October 2026, running until 10 January 2027. Curated by writer and curator Ekow Eshun, the exhibition features more than 30 artists and presents art produced in the UK over the past five years.
The Coventry presentation is staged across Herbert Art Gallery & Museum, Coventry University and the Mead Gallery. Works span painting, sculpture, photography, film and installation, addressing identity, belonging, memory, community and relationships with the natural world.
The exhibition will then tour to Swansea from 12 February to 16 May 2027; Bristol from 19 June to 19 September 2027; Sheffield from 23 October 2027 to 20 February 2028; and Newcastle Gateshead from 24 March to 18 June 2028.
British Art Show 10 is a Southbank Centre Hayward Gallery Touring exhibition organised in collaboration with galleries across Coventry, Swansea, Bristol, Sheffield and Newcastle.
