‘Manifesta, La Traversée’ runs from 16 September to 2 October 2026, organised by manifesta, a Lyon-based exhibition producer. RX&SLAG appears in it twice: its Paris space presents a solo show by Tamara Kostianovsky and its New York space, SLAG&RX, a solo show by Chaz Guest. The gallery listed the project under “Foires / Fairs” in a programme notice circulated for the 2026 autumn season.
The organiser stages the show as an echo of the 18th Biennale d’Art Contemporain de Lyon, titled « Passer d’un rêve à l’autre » and conceived by curator Catherine Nichols, and builds it around the idea of passage. It does not claim to be part of the biennale’s official programme.
La Traversée brings together six galleries — international, national, regional and local — each showing one solo presentation: RX&SLAG Paris with Kostianovsky, SLAG&RX New York with Guest, Michel Rein with Enrique Ramírez, Galerie Claire Gastaud with Nils-Udo, Ceysson & Bénétière with Bao Vuong, and Galerie Sophie Scheidecker with Justine Tjallinks. In partnership with BNP Paribas Banque Privée, three laureates of the BNP Paribas prize are also shown: Nathalie du Pasquier (Galerie Yvon Lambert), Thomas Lévy-Lasne and Sara Ouhaddou (Galerie Polaris).
The venue is an underground space 140 metres long, described by the organiser as conceived by a collector along the lines of a Lyonnais traboule: 330 square metres of concrete through which the works are encountered in movement rather than at a single glance. The organiser gives weekday visits by appointment at Saint-Cyr-au-Mont-d’Or, in the Lyon metropolitan area, and publishes no general opening hours.
Neither the organiser nor the gallery specifies which works Kostianovsky and Guest will show, or whether they are new or previously exhibited, and no artist statement is published.
The notice sits among RX&SLAG’s wider autumn 2026 fair announcements, which also include Fine Arts Paris at the Grand Palais, stand N2, from 19 to 23 September, and The Armory Show at the Javits Center in New York, stand 220, from 24 to 27 September.
