The Barbican will present ‘I Am Furious Black: The Films of William Greaves’, a retrospective running at Barbican Cinema in London from Wednesday 21 October to Saturday 28 November 2026.
The residency is scheduled to run from 14 September 2026 to 21 March 2027. Clark works across film, installation and performance, focusing on moving image in the expanded field while exploring new modes of exchange, collaboration and dialogue in a global context, with particular interest in the non-aligned histories of the global south.
Perth Museum will present Isaac Julien’s film-based artwork ‘Lessons of the Hour – Frederick Douglass’ (2019) from 9 October 2026 until 11 April 2027, as the first and only Scottish venue on the inaugural UK tour of ARTIST ROOMS, the touring collection of modern and contemporary art shared by Tate and the National Galleries of Scotland.

‘Sammy Baloji: When Extraction Becomes Form It Speaks in Borrowed Tongues’ opens in the galleries of the Wexner Center for the Arts in Columbus, Ohio, on 20 September 2026 and runs until 14 February 2027, free for all audiences.
