Engel Gallery is inviting visitors to ‘From the Depths of Time,’ an exhibition dedicated to Yaacov Agam’s work and presented to mark the opening of the Jerusalem Biennale.
The exhibition is listed for September 23, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. at Engel Gallery, 13 Shlomzion HaMalka St., Jerusalem. Gabriel Engel is the curator.
The exhibition frames Agam’s work through the tension between the static and the dynamic, and between what is immediately visible and what gradually unfolds over time.
The announcement describes Agam as a pioneer of Kinetic and Optical Art whose work transforms the artwork from a fixed object into a changing experience rooted in movement, discovery and participation.
It explores his kinetic and optical art through color, movement, time and changing perspectives.
