The Museu d’Art de Girona is presenting ‘Concha Ibáñez. L’evocació del paisatge’, an exhibition devoted to the landscape work of Concha Ibáñez and timed to coincide with the centenary of her birth.

The Museu d’Art de Girona is highlighting a Gothic sculpture of ‘Santa Coloma’, a religious image carved from a single block of alabaster and dated by the museum to between 1340 and 1370.

The Girona Museum of Art has unveiled the graphic proposal for this year’s 'Art-Acció', the museum’s annual day of artistic experimentation, which will be dedicated to stone.

The Museu d’Art de Girona will hold a family painting workshop, ‘Evoquem Girona!’, on 8 August at 11.30am, inviting children aged six and up to explore the museum’s temporary exhibition ‘Concha Ibáñez.

The Girona Museum of Art has chosen an anonymous woodcut, dated circa 1844-1886, as its featured piece for August.
