BEERS London has announced that it will close with a final group exhibition titled 'So This Is Goodbye...', opening on 20 August with an opening preview from 6 to 8 pm at the gallery’s London space on Little Britain. The exhibition is described by the gallery as an end-of-summer presentation of artists from around the world working across all media, and it marks the final chapter of BEERS London’s 14-year run.
The gallery frames the exhibition as both a farewell and a continuation of a programme built around open call exhibitions. In the announcement, BEERS says those projects have been central to its activity because they offered opportunities to discover new voices, encounter fresh perspectives and engage with a wide range of artistic practices from across the globe. The final show is presented as an extension of that approach rather than a departure from it.
BEERS London also places the exhibition within the broader history of the gallery since 2012. In its statement, the gallery says that over the past 14 years it has worked with an international community of artists, collectors, patrons, supporters and collaborators, and that exhibitions in London and projects and partnerships elsewhere have helped shape its story. The closing exhibition is positioned as a summation of that history, bringing together a new generation of artists while honouring what the gallery calls the spirit of discovery, dialogue and artistic excellence.
The participating artists listed for 'So This Is Goodbye...' are Iris Bendt-Hedal, Aleksandr Biruk, Damien Cifelli, Carsten Goering, Michelle Hoogveld, Rory Jones, Matthieu Leger, Matt Macken, Elliott Pittam, Griffin Rich, Tania Rivilis, Brian Robertson, Namarata Singh, Lucia Tambini, Curtis Valentine and Benny Watson. The gallery’s announcement does not provide a full checklist of works, but it does include images and titles for selected pieces by Damien Cifelli, Iris Bendt-Hedal and Carsten Goering.
Among those highlighted works are Damien Cifelli’s 'Boundary' from 2026, described as oil and sand on canvas and measuring 150 x 120 cm; Iris Bendt-Hedal’s 'Mother' from 2026, an acrylic and oilstick on canvas measuring 170 x 120 cm; and Carsten Goering’s 'Spica' from 2025, an oil and foil on canvas measuring 50 x 40 cm. The announcement presents these examples as part of a wider group exhibition rather than singling out a central theme or narrative.
The closing show follows the gallery’s final-week focus on Andrew Salgado’s 'Glory!', which is listed separately as closing on 15 August at the same London address. For 'So This Is Goodbye...', BEERS gives the venue as 51 Little Britain, EC1A 7BH, London, and identifies the opening preview as taking place on Thursday 20 August from 6 to 8 pm.
