Artipelag will close its ‘Scensommar 2026’ programme with a performance that brings poetry, chamber music and projection-based visuals into one setting. On 15 August, Hannes Meidal and Lena Endre will recite texts by Rainer Maria Rilke in an event presented as the final chapter of the summer series at the venue in Gustavsberg, outside Stockholm.

The programme is billed as taking place inside the immersive image world of Alphonse Mucha, where the audience is surrounded by poetry, music and projections. According to Artipelag, the evening is designed as a scenically framed finale in which the various art forms are meant to meet and reinforce one another. The event is listed as taking place in the artbox within ‘MUCHA – Beyond Art Nouveau’, Artipelag’s ongoing immersive presentation.

Artipelag says Meidal and Endre will perform alongside KammarensembleN and conductor Christian Karlsen. The concert repertoire is said to include music by Debussy, Zemlinsky and Busoni, woven into Mucha’s dreamlike visual universe. The institution describes KammarensembleN as one of Sweden’s leading ensembles for contemporary art music, bringing together some of the country’s leading musicians in work that explores new music and boundary-crossing stage art.

The event is part of a wider summer programme at Artipelag that combines stage performance, concerts and exhibitions. The venue’s current exhibition listings on its website also include Fredrik Wretman’s ‘I C 3 D 2 (it’s all in your head)’, shown from 14 March to 30 August 2026, while ‘MUCHA – Beyond Art Nouveau’ is listed separately as an experience in the artbox from 27 March to 27 September 2026. Artipelag describes itself as a destination for art, design, food and events in the Stockholm archipelago.

The Rilke evening is scheduled for 15 August 2026 from 19:30 to 20:45, with admission from 19:15. Ticket prices listed on the Artipelag website are 495 SEK for regular admission and 445 SEK for seniors aged 65 and over, with Art.Pass members offered a 100 SEK discount. The programme is listed under the category poetry.

Artipelag is also offering a combined ticket with dinner before the evening concert. The venue says the meal is served at Bådan Café from 17:00 to 19:00, with the evening dish priced at 350 SEK and to be collected on presentation of a ticket. It notes that the combination ticket must be booked no later than three days before the concert, and that lighter dishes and coffee are also available at Bådan Café & Konditori.
