‘러빙/러빙: 서울 집’ is a work by Suh Do-ho that records the space of the hanok where he lived during childhood through a direct rubbing method.

Suh placed paper against the surfaces of architectural elements and rubbed pigment over them, collecting the forms and textures of those surfaces as they were.

The architectural elements documented include walls, doors, windows and pillars.

The method creates a paper-based record of architectural surfaces by placing paper on them and rubbing pigment across them.
