Serpentine Galleries has announced the 2026 edition of 'Park Nights', its long-running live programme staged in the Serpentine Pavilion. Running from July to October, the season will unfold in the 2026 Pavilion designed by LANZA atelier and bring together music, performance and interdisciplinary live work on selected evenings across the summer and early autumn.
The programme opens on 10 July with Vancouver-based musician Sophia Stel and 'I Feel Amazing', a site-specific performance presented as part of 'Park Nights 2026'. Serpentine describes Stel’s set as drawing on her latest EP, 'How to Win At Solitaire' (2025), and using synthesisers, digital drums and electric guitar in a performance that moves between alt-pop and indie rock. The event is presented in collaboration with Stone Island Sound and is priced at £10, or £7 concession.
A week later, on 17 July, Chanel Beads will appear with 'Your Day Will Come'. Chanel Beads is the stage name of New York City-based underground pop musician Shane Lavers, whose work Serpentine says blends electronic and acoustic sounds. For 'Park Nights 2026', the performance will transform the pavilion into a stage for a live set with vocal and guitar interludes, again in collaboration with Stone Island Sound. The page for the event notes that the performance revolves around the artist’s second album, 'Your Day Will Come' (2026), which uses dream logic to explore liminality and precarious remembrance.
The first dates already announced continue in September with visual artist and writer Ebun Sodipo, who will present 'Atlantic Cruises: The Sex Tour' on 25 September. Serpentine says the performance is a new iteration of 'Atlantic Cruises' (2018-ongoing), a series rooted in Black feminist study. The work is described as a polyphonic audio-visual conversation that maps new languages and tools for speaking about the body and the past for Black trans people of the future. Sodipo’s event is also listed at £10, or £7 concession.
The season concludes on 2 and 3 October with Shala Miller, a visual artist, writer and musician presenting her work in the UK for the first time. Serpentine says the new commission will create moments of harmony and dissonance through improvised vocal and string experiments. Like the other Park Nights events, Miller’s performance takes place in the Serpentine Pavilion and is priced at £10, or £7 concession.
According to Serpentine, 'Park Nights' has presented new work since 2002 across art, music, film, theatre, dance, literature, philosophy, fashion and technology. The series is conceived as a response to each new Pavilion design, offering audiences a way to experience architecture and performance together. For 2026, the institution says the Pavilion becomes the stage for a sequence of interdisciplinary interventions across the selected dates in July, September and October.
The programme is curated by Claude Adjil, Curator at Large, with Liz Stumpf, Assistant Exhibitions Curator, and the individual event pages also credit Hanna Girma, Senior Editor and Curator of Editorial Projects, on the Ebun Sodipo commission. 'Park Nights 2026' takes place at the Serpentine Pavilion in London, with the first announced performances on 10 and 17 July, followed by 25 September and 2-3 October.
