The 2026 edition of ‘Premio Piero Siena’ features Stefano Bernardi and Samira Mosca from 25 September 2026. Curated by Federica Lamedica, the exhibition is installed in Primo Piano, Edificio Castello, rooms 7 and 9.

For the 2026 edition, Rivoli is collaborating with the Provincia Autonoma di Bolzano–Alto Adige and Museion – Museo di arte moderna e contemporanea di Bolzano through an agreement under which the province acquires and donates works by artists working in Alto Adige to partner museums. The donations follow a selection process conducted with those museums. Stefano Bernardi, from Bolzano, is the winning artist selected for the Castello di Rivoli, while Samira Mosca, also from Bolzano, is the winner selected for Museion.

After an initial public presentation at Bolzano’s Centro Trevi in summer 2026, the awarded works are being shown in the historic galleries of the Castello di Rivoli. Rivoli’s permanent collection acquires Bernardi’s exhibited work as well as the video work ‘Mélissa’.

Bernardi’s ‘Mélissa 4’ is an installation made from recordings of vibrations emitted by bees passing through tubes of different sizes and materials, organ pipes and latex balloons.

‘Interspace – Capitolo III’, part of a series of works that Mosca has made since 2017, reflects on eating disorders and on how they mark bodies through the deception of the mind. Working across photography, ceramics, installation and performance, Mosca examines the body as a space shaped by memories, desires, traumas and cultural and social constructions.
