On 3 October 2026 at 15:00, an auction of works by contemporary artists will take place at the Museum of Caricature. Proceeds from the auction of satirical and comic works will go toward the Ha-Gi Award. The auction will be led by Karolina Norkiewicz of the Klub Komediowy.

In this year’s edition, works available for bidding will include pieces by Bolesław Chromry, Zosia Dzierżawska, Krystyna Engelmayer-Urbański, Renata Gąsiorowska, Tosia Kiliś, Michał Loba, Piotr Marzec, Mroux, Maria Rostocka, Michał Rzecznik, Michał Śledziński, Jacek Świdziński, Leszek Wicherek and Bartek Zaskórski, as well as a work by the award’s patron, Ha-Ga.

The Ha-Gi Award was established in 2023 by the Museum of Caricature in Warsaw, the Zwykłe Życie Foundation and Zuzanna Lipińska, Ha-Ga’s daughter. The award is reserved exclusively for women and recognizes outstanding achievements and creative work in graphic art, illustration, comics and satirical drawing; its stated aim is to support, promote and increase the visibility of Polish women artists working in these fields.

Applications for the current edition are open, with five finalists to be selected from the applicants; Zuzanna Lipińska, Ha-Ga’s daughter, will choose the winner, who will be announced on 21 November 2026 during the next edition of ‘Niech żyje komiks!’
