Davide Stucchi’s 'Temporary Rooms' is on view until 4 October 2026 at Triennale Milano, where the exhibition is installed on the first floor, in the Impluvium. The presentation occupies the venue’s Impluvium as a project that transforms exhibition space into a domestic environment populated by works combining art and design.
The project is structured through four successive reconfigurations of that environment: a bathroom beginning on 14 May, a living room from 23 June, a bedroom from 21 July, and a kitchen from 15 September.
Each replacement gives rise to a new temporary room, making the arrangement itself subject to change over the months in which the exhibition is open.
For Stucchi, the domestic space becomes a narrative device capable of relating images, bodies and objects. The project addresses contemporary ways of inhabiting by presenting the home as a cultural construction shaped by memories and tensions. It does not merely represent inhabiting, but activates it as an experience and a relationship.
