The exhibition is on view at Kunst Museum Winterthur | Beim Stadthaus from 13 June to 8 November 2026.
Rather than presenting Heidi Bucher through a conventional historical retrospective, the exhibition takes a contemporary view of her work and brings Bucher and Liesl Raff into a close artistic dialogue. It is curated by Lynn Kost.
Raff transforms the white cube into a network of intimate moments and open structures made from fabric, latex and other materials.
Within this atmospheric space, Bucher’s little-known, fragile drawings receive a contemporary setting with sensual depth.
Bucher’s work gained broad recognition only after her death in 1993 and has since been shown in exhibitions worldwide, including in Asia, the United States, Switzerland and at the Venice Biennale.
