The Armory Show will be held at Javits Center, Booth 410, with a VIP Preview on September 24 and Public Days from September 25–27. DC Moore Gallery’s presentation brings historic and contemporary works together around the meeting of form, figure and abstraction.
Major works by Romare Bearden and David Driskell will be on view in dialogue with new and recent works by contemporary artists in the gallery’s program that further this theme. The broader presentation includes works by Jacob Lawrence, Charles Burchfield, Janet Fish, Jane Wilson, Eric Aho, Barbara Takenaga and others.
The booth will feature a new painting from Eric Aho, coinciding with the September release of his Rizzoli Electa monograph and preceding his upcoming October 2026 solo exhibition at DC Moore, ‘Eric Aho: The Meadow’s Edge,’ opening on October 8. The presentation will also include an abstract work by Barbara Takenaga ahead of the October opening of her major museum survey, ‘Awestruck,’ at the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art in Kansas City, Missouri.
