The vernissage for ‘Tokyo Story’ will take place on 17 September 2026 at 6 p.m., and the exhibition will be open to the public from 18 September through 25 October 2026.
The exhibition began with a journey to Tokyo and an attempt to view the city not only as a place, but also as a space filled with images, signs, chance encounters and traces. It approaches Tokyo at close range—not through the lens of tourist postcards, but through attentive walking, observation and the search for what usually remains beyond the main route.
Drawings, 3D prints, installations and films will form a narrative suspended between reality and imagination.
Studio 2 examines the city, its inhabitants and its own artistic practice, while discovering surprising similarities with an unknown Japanese artist. ‘Tokyo Story’ is presented above all as a story of travel, an encounter with the Other and a search for one’s own artistic alter ego.
