On September 14, 2026, Ars Electronica 2026 was back in downtown Linz and was met with an enthusiastic response.
Ars Electronica reported 125,000 visits across 40 venues.
The organization said the greater visibility of its offerings, along with the 30th anniversary of the Ars Electronica Center, attracted noticeably more local visitors, who also spent more time in the exhibitions.
The new ‘FESTIVAL WALK’ in the city center was particularly well received, the organization said.
