'D'un seul fil' presents new and revisited works by the two laureates. Wood, sculpture and archives come together to reflect on the transitory and enduring nature of territory and memory.
The Powerhouse Prize is a biennial recognition award of $14,000 shared between two Montreal artists to celebrate their careers. It is intended for women and gender-diverse people at mid-career or established stages who have made significant contributions to Montreal's cultural and artistic milieu.
The artists' practice was selected by a peer jury composed of curator and commissioner Mojeanne Behzadi, curator and art critic Ariane De Blois, and artist Natacha Clitandre, the 2024 Powerhouse Prize laureate. The opening will take place on September 24, 2026, from 6 to 9 p.m., followed by an artists' talk on October 3 from 2 to 4 p.m.
