The exhibition runs from 18 August to 3 October 2026 in the First Floor Craft Showcase.
The showcase will continue with Lois Walpole from 5 October to 28 November, followed by Laura Cunningham from 30 November to 23 January 2027.
Contemporary makers combine traditional weaving skills with innovative ideas, materials and forms, creating work that is both rooted in heritage and relevant to modern life.
Through their individual use of materials, techniques and forms, each artist demonstrates how basketmaking continues to grow and innovate while remaining connected to its rich traditions.
