The Sandretto Re Rebaudengo Foundation in Turin says the last days are underway for 'Paola Pivi. Art of universe', which closes on 26 July 2026. Presented within ARWE, the project spans more than twenty years of the artist’s practice and brings together historical works and new productions in an exhibition framed around the relationship between the human, the natural and the imaginary.

The foundation’s current listings identify the show as running from 27 May to 26 July 2026, with public opening hours on Thursday evenings and from Friday to Sunday in the afternoon. In the same newsletter, the foundation notes that it will close for the summer from 3 August to 2 September and resume activities on 3 September, but the Pivi exhibition itself ends before that break.

According to the institution’s description, 'Paola Pivi. Art of universe' traces over two decades of the artist’s research through surprising transformations of forms and materials. The project is presented with an emphasis on irony and wonder, terms used by the foundation to characterize the way the works explore the relation between human beings, nature and the realm of the imagined.

Pivi is an internationally recognized artist, and the Turin presentation places her long-term experimentation in a focused survey format. By spanning earlier and newer works, the exhibition offers a condensed view of a practice that the foundation presents as both sustained and varied, with a particular interest in the shifting identities of things and beings through material change.

The show is part of a broader programme of exhibitions currently on view across the foundation’s network of venues. In Turin, the newsletter also lists solo exhibitions by Xin Liu, June Crespo, Lenz Geerk and Diego Marcon; in Guarene, 'Before it happens' is also in its final days. Those parallel presentations are separate from the Pivi project, which remains the central Turin exhibition heading into its closing weekend.

'Paola Pivi. Art of universe' is at the Sandretto Re Rebaudengo Foundation in Turin through 26 July 2026, with opening hours on Thursday from 8 pm to 11 pm, and from Friday to Sunday from noon to 7 pm.
