‘What about us. Arte italiana dallo Young Curators Residency Programme’ opens at 17:30 on 26 September 2026 at Palazzo Re Rebaudengo in Guarene, marking the 20th anniversary of the Young Curators Residency Programme and bringing together works by 23 Italian artists who took part in different editions. A study day examines the role of Italian art in the international landscape.
Since 2007, the residency programme has hosted almost 60 international curators, fostering encounters with the Italian art scene and creating opportunities to meet more than 200 Italian artists, often at their first institutional exhibition. The programme’s successive editions have built an archive of perspectives on contemporary Italian art.
The anniversary exhibition revisits this archive through a selection of works that reflect on time, memory and the construction of the future.
