‘The Moon Is Yours, The Daylight Is Mine’, a solo exhibition by Danish artist Mads Rafte Hein, will run from September 25 to October 23, 2026. The presentation is Hein’s fourth solo exhibition with Galleri Christoffer Egelund.
The exhibition features 26 new paintings and 10 ceramic works. It brings viewers into Hein’s vivid, dreamlike interiors, with elegant rooms, saturated colours and traces of human presence that blur the line between reality, memory and imagination.
Human figures appear more prominently throughout Hein’s paintings. They are described not as protagonists, but as quiet presences within the spaces they inhabit.
An opening reception will be held on Friday, September 25, 2026, from 16:00 to 19:00 at Bredgade 75, with the artist present.
