Christ Church’s Kitchin Family Book Reopens for Research

Dr Alison Halsall, the first Lewis Carroll Visiting Fellow, has delivered ‘Lewis Carroll: Early Transmedial Storyteller’, a talk now available to watch as a recording.

'Langt ude i skoven' will run from 3 October 2026 to 10 January 2027. The exhibition opens with a reception on Saturday 3 October at 14:00, and admission is free.

The work is a lithographic poster on Arches wove paper, signed in ink. Its listing describes it as one of the deluxe examples on premier Arches wove paper and says that its hand-signed status is exceptionally rare.

Hidden Gallery’s listing identifies Marc Chagall’s ‘L’ange sur fond bleu I’ as a signed colour lithograph from 1969, printed on Arches paper; the entry therefore specifies the artist, the French-titled work, its date, its signed status, its colour-print medium and the paper used for it.
