'Langt ude i skoven' will run from 3 October 2026 to 10 January 2027. The exhibition opens with a reception on Saturday 3 October at 14:00, and admission is free.
The presentation brings together woodcuts, photography and painting by Anette Abrahamsson, Svend-Allan Sørensen, Christina Jensen and Vibeke Glarbo. The four artists share an interest in observing and processing nature as a subject, particularly the ways in which humans look at nature.
Christina Jensen, who works under the name chris1million, uses photographs of old oak trees to examine the relationship between humans, nature and time. Vibeke Glarbo has worked with sculpture and installation during her career and experiments with different graphic techniques and combinations.
Svend-Allan Sørensen primarily works with graphic expression, often in large formats.
A parallel film programme titled 'Menneskets møde med naturen' presents three film works that examine the relationship between humans, landscape and nature through different visual and narrative approaches. Each film is shown continuously for five weeks in a small cinema room integrated into the exhibition.
