Museum Wilhelm Busch in Hanover is presenting ‘Wie geht es dir?’, an exhibition of 60 comics by 48 artists. On view from 29 August to 8 November 2026, the exhibition is subtitled ‘Artists Against Antisemitism, Hate and Racism’.
The comics recount conversations with people affected in different ways by Hamas’s attack on Israel on 7 October 2023 and the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza. The works bring together perspectives from Jewish people, Muslims, Arabs, Palestinians, Israelis and people engaged against antisemitism, hate and racism.
The exhibition centres personal experiences, including fear, powerlessness, frustration, uncertainty, hope and confidence. It is presented in cooperation with Stiftung Leben & Umwelt / Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung Niedersachsen and is an exhibition of the International Comic Salon Erlangen.
A Comic Salon with illustrator and comic artist Roya Soraya takes place on 18 September at 6pm. Soraya, who is part of ‘Wie geht es dir?’, will present her 2026 book ‘Wind in meinem Kopftuch’ in a reading and conversation with comic expert Katinka Kornacker.
