‘De bonté, de liberté, de mystère’ brings together works by three Mont-Saint-Hilaire artists

‘De bonté, de liberté, de mystère’ runs from 20 June to 27 September 2026, presenting works by Ozias Leduc, Paul-Émile Borduas and Jordi Bonet.

The exhibition brings together major works from the museum’s collection alongside works by Borduas loaned for the presentation. The loans include works from the Liliane and André Lacroix Collection, the private collection of Anithe de Carvalho and Marcel Saint-Pierre, the Yvon Brind’Amour Collection, and the Payeur-Saint-Pierre Collection.

Comprising drawings, paintings and sculpture, the selection addresses foundations of the three artists’ respective practices. It is presented as a complement to Mathieu Laca’s concurrent exhibition ‘Correlieu retrouvé’, which is structured around Leduc, Borduas and Bonet.
