'A Wunderkammer Depicted in Rubens’s Studiolo'

Wunderkammern were cabinets of wonders in which collectors gathered extraordinary objects from as early as the 16th century.

The item dates the work to 1635–1640 and associates it with the Uffizi. It presents Rubens’s studiolo as an example of a Wunderkammer and identifies the art dealer Cornelis de Baeilleur as the painter.
