Kiaf SEOUL has appointed Kuho Jung as artistic director for its 25th-anniversary edition, making him the first external director in the fair’s history.
Jung is a designer, former executive director of Seoul Fashion Week and founder of his own brand. He has also created set designs and costumes for Korean institutions in dance, opera and the performing arts.
For Kiaf SEOUL 2026, Jung is reimagining the fair’s visual identity and spatial layout, with the aim of fostering dialogue between contemporary art and other creative disciplines. His responsibilities also include exhibition design for special presentations.
Kiaf SEOUL 2026 will take place at COEX in Seoul from 2 to 6 September. The anniversary edition will bring together 175 galleries from 18 countries and territories.
