BEERS London is presenting ‘So This Is Goodbye...’, an end-of-summer group exhibition that will mark the final chapter of the gallery’s 14-year journey. The exhibition brings together 16 artists from around the world, working across all media, at the gallery’s London address, 51 Little Britain, EC1A 7BH. It closes on Saturday 29 August 2026.
The participating artists are Iris Bendt-Hedal, Aleksandr Biruk, Damien Cifelli, Carsten Goering, Michelle Hoogveld, Rory Jones, Matthieu Leger, Matt Macken, Elliott Pittam, Griffin Rich, Tania Rivilis, Brian Robertson, Namarata Singh, Lucia Tambini, Curtis Valentine and Benny Watson. The presentation is framed by the gallery as both a concluding exhibition and a continuation of its interest in discovering and supporting emerging artistic voices.
BEERS London describes open-call exhibitions as central to its programme. According to the gallery, these exhibitions have provided opportunities to encounter new perspectives and a broad range of artistic practices from across the globe. ‘So This Is Goodbye...’ continues that format while bringing together artists whose work, the gallery says, reflects the curiosity, ambition and creativity associated with its programme.
The exhibition includes Brian Robertson’s ‘Cleaning Day’ (2026), made with acrylic, string and yarn with canvas edging, measuring 101 by 76 centimetres. Damien Cifelli is represented by ‘The Sounding Wall’ (2026), an oil painting incorporating volcanic rock dust and soil on canvas, measuring 100 by 80 centimetres. The available details identify the works as part of a presentation spanning varied materials and approaches rather than a single medium or thematic method.
The gallery’s statement places the exhibition within a history that began in 2012. It refers to an international community of artists, collectors, patrons, supporters and collaborators, as well as exhibitions in London and projects and partnerships elsewhere. The final group show is presented as a reflection of that history and as a conclusion to the gallery’s work of discovering, supporting and championing contemporary artists.
Alongside the exhibition, BEERS London is offering a selection of works by Andrew Salgado from his recent solo exhibition ‘GLORY!’ and from the gallery’s wider inventory. The newsletter lists ‘The Prince’ (2026), ‘For Myra’ (2026), ‘And The Band Goes On, and On, and On’ (2026) and ‘Three Magpies Means Apocalypse’ (2026), all made with oil and oil pastel on linen. These works are presented separately from the group exhibition and are available through the gallery by request.
‘So This Is Goodbye...’ remains on view at BEERS London, 51 Little Britain, London, until Saturday 29 August 2026.
