Emmanuelle Antille will present ‘The Wonder Way Project: Les Labyrinthes et les mondes oubliés’ at the Musée Jenisch Vevey in Switzerland from 5 September to 4 October 2026. The exhibition is the third installment in a series developed from the filmmaker and visual artist’s exploration of extraordinary, unconventional worlds through her film ‘The Wonder Way.’
The project follows earlier presentations at the Manoir de la Ville de Martigny and the Centre d’art contemporain d’Yverdon-les-Bains (CACY). At the Musée Jenisch, Antille will introduce a new installation under the subtitle ‘Les labyrinthes et les mondes oubliés’—‘The Labyrinths and the Forgotten Worlds’—focused on wandering, traces and erasure.
According to the museum’s announcement, the exhibition considers artistic worlds that have faded from view, inaccessible or neglected treasures, unrealised universes and places that have disappeared permanently. The presentation extends Antille’s interest in the creative process and in the extraordinary environments it can generate, while situating the new work within the museum’s collections.
The installation will be shown alongside a selection of prints and drawings from the Musée Jenisch’s holdings, as well as works by associated artists. The announcement does not identify all of the participating artists or specify the number of works in the presentation. An accompanying credit lists Antille’s collage ‘Labyrinthes’ (2026), made with collage on paper and measuring 42 by 30 centimetres.
The exhibition forms part of the Musée Jenisch Vevey’s contemporary-art programme while engaging directly with its collection of works on paper. The museum’s September programme also includes a public book launch for ‘The Wonder Way Project’ on 17 September from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., with Antille scheduled to attend. The event is listed as free and requires registration.
The museum will hold the exhibition opening on 4 September from 6:30 p.m., with free admission. ‘The Wonder Way Project: Les Labyrinthes et les mondes oubliés’ will then remain on view at the Musée Jenisch Vevey, Avenue de la Gare 2, from 5 September through 4 October 2026.
