Cukrarna in Ljubljana has released a bilingual catalogue documenting David Maljković’s exhibition ‘Razstava’, which was presented at the institution from 15 May to 26 October 2025. Published in April 2026, the volume is now available at Cukrarna’s reception and through the online shop of the Museum and Galleries of Ljubljana (MGML) for €30.

The publication brings together a text by the exhibition’s curator, Kathrin Rhomberg, and an extensive essay by art historian Ivana Mance Cipek. According to Cukrarna, the two contributions situate Maljković’s project within the broader context of his artistic practice and his consideration of the exhibition itself as an autonomous creative medium.

Photographic documentation records the installation at Cukrarna, including its spatial design and the dialogue established between the artworks and the gallery’s architecture. The catalogue is published in Slovenian and English, extending the exhibition’s documentation beyond its original presentation in Ljubljana.

The volume was edited by Maljković and Rhomberg and issued by MGML. Its production credits include editorial support from Marija Veljanovska Nemec, translations by Graham McMaster, MultiLingual Pro and Marjana Karer, and design and layout by Ajdin Bašić. The photographs are credited to Hrvoje Franjić unless otherwise indicated.

The catalogue has a print run of 400 copies. Its publication was supported by the City of Ljubljana’s Department of Culture and Kontakt Collection in Vienna. The announcement forms part of Cukrarna’s collection of exhibition catalogues, preserving a record of a project that has already closed while retaining its curatorial texts and visual account of the installation.

Cukrarna is part of the public institution Museum and Galleries of Ljubljana, whose founder is the City of Ljubljana. The catalogue can be purchased at Cukrarna, Poljanski nasip 40, Ljubljana, or through MGML’s online shop.
