'Mucha in Paris with Angelina Lippert' will take place as an in-person lecture on October 23 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.

Angelina Lippert, executive director and chief curator at Poster House, will present an in-depth look at Alphonse Mucha’s Paris-era posters, tracing his rise from struggling illustrator to the most sought-after commercial artist of the late 1800s.

Norman Rockwell’s ‘The Oculist’ (1956) has returned to view in the Kerstein Gallery at the Washington County Museum of Fine Arts in Hagerstown, Maryland.

The Washington County Museum of Fine Arts has announced the loan of ‘Sunset Over the Ocean’ (1860), a landscape attributed to Sanford Robinson Gifford, for the exhibition ‘Kindred Spirits: Artists in the Tenth Street Studio Building’.
