The Staatsgalerie Stuttgart will close its longstanding presentation of Classical Modernism in the Stirling Building on 11 October 2026, ahead of a comprehensive redesign of the galleries and preparatory work for energy-efficiency renovations.

The Von der Heydt-Museum in Wuppertal is presenting ‘Museum A bis Z. Von Anfang bis Zukunft’, an exhibition that uses the institution’s collection to examine how museums collect, preserve, research, display and interpret art.
