Lygia Clark

Brazil, 1920–1988

Lygia Clark was a Brazilian artist known for her painting and installation work. She was a co-founder of the Neo-Concrete movement and associated with Brazilian Constructivism and Tropicalia. Her work explored the relationship between inside and outside, as well as self and the world, and she developed interactive art methods from 1960 onwards.
