Georgia O’Keeffe

Georgia O'Keeffe was an American modernist painter and draftswoman whose career spanned seven decades. She is known for her paintings of natural forms, such as flowers, hills, and desert landscapes, often inspired by the environments she lived in. O'Keeffe is regarded as the "Mother of American modernism." She preferred to be recognized as an artist rather than solely as a "woman artist."
