Ethos Arts Inc., at 3405 Newport Boulevard in Newport Beach, California, has two dated events left in its August programme. The gallery's own events page lists Sculpt with Márton Váró on Thursday 20 August 2026 and Meet the Artist: Pitch Black on Sunday 30 August 2026, both at the gallery. The first of the three events announced in its August newsletter — a live-painting appearance by Georgeana Ireland on Balboa Island, at Kimberlee Drake Real Estate - SERHANT. — took place on Saturday 15 August and has already passed.
The Váró event is billed as a chance to sculpt alongside the Hungarian-born sculptor, hear his methods and make a clay piece. Attending is free, but tickets are required to sculpt and must be bought in advance because places are limited and clay is reserved for ticket holders; the newsletter puts them at $100 for adults and $60 for under-18s. The Pitch Black date is a meet-the-artist at the gallery, with an RSVP requested, built around his paintings of pop-culture figures.
The same events page carries a longer-running collaboration the newsletter did not mention: the Ethos x Il Girasole Pop-Up, listed from 26 January to 31 December 2026 at Il Girasole, 3321 Hyland Ave Suite E, Costa Mesa, where street-art works by Ethos artists are installed on the restaurant's ceiling.
All three artists appear in the newsletter's 'Current Shows | Artists With Upcoming Events' section. Ireland is represented by 'Ocean Mist III' (2026), an original mixed media on wood measuring 48 by 36 inches, and 'Sojourn II', 32 by 40 inches, oil and natural pigments on canvas; Váró by 'Small Female (Study)', 14.5 by 4 by 4 inches, and 'Emerging', 19 by 4 by 4 inches; and Pitch Black by 'Off The Chain', 30 by 30 inches, and 'Like a Barbie', 24 by 24 inches. The 'Ocean Mist III' page went live on the gallery's site on 3 July 2026 and the work is still listed as available; Ireland's work also sits in the gallery's 'Your Home Is Your Sanctuary' grouping.
Ethos Arts describes itself as representing emerging and recently established local and international artists, from pop and graffiti to modern and contemporary work, with an emphasis on large-scale painting, art glass and monumental steel, marble and bronze sculpture. The gallery is open Tuesday to Saturday, 11am to 4pm, with additional hours and home viewings by appointment.
